The Indian River State volleyball team picked up another win Wednesday night sweeping Eastern Florida State College 3-0.
The Pioneers jumped out to a big lead in the first set and won handily 25-8. IRSC kept the heat on the Titans in the second set winning 25-16 and finished off the sweep with a 25-21 victory in the third.
Pioneers setter Jada Bivens moved the ball around nicely on the court as she collected 21 assists in the match while Erin Ergle added another 5. Tessa Raadsheer had 10 kills for IRSC, while Jacki Schmitz, Kaitlyn Chavarria and Bivens added another 5 kills each. Jasmine Sayre led the IRSC defense with 12 digs. In the middle, Jacki Schmitz had 5 blocks and right side hitter Mallory Roney contributed 3 blocks in the win.
The Pioneers are now 7-2 on the season and travel to Santa Fe State College for a tri-match this Saturday.
