The River Secures Statement Conference Win
FORT PIERCE, FL - The River picked up another big conference win on Saturday, keeping their playoff seeding hopes alive. It was a statement game defensively, as The River showed they can guard at a high level and hold a team under 80 points. Overall, it was a great night for the program.
The River was led by dominant big man Tamiel Green, who finished with 22 points and 15 rebounds. The big guy showed exactly why he's considered one of the best players in the league, controlling the paint on both ends of the floor.
Isiah Cameron provided a huge spark off the bench with 19 points and 8 rebounds, bringing energy and production when it mattered most. Top-50 freshman Caleb Cameron recorded a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds, continuing to prove why he's one of the top young players to watch. Adam Squire added 10 points to round out a balanced scoring attack.
It was an overall great team effort and a big-time win as The River continues to push toward the postseason.
