The River Bounces Back With Road Win at St. Pete

ST. PETERSBURG, FL - The River got back in the win column with a strong 10-point road victory over St. Pete, showing resilience and focus after their previous outing. It was encouraging to see the team respond with energy and confidence while playing their brand of basketball. The River set the tone early on the defensive end, applying consistent pressure and controlling the pace of the game from start to finish.

Offensively, three players stepped up in a big way to lead the charge. Tamiel Green delivered a dominant all-around performance, finishing with 24 points, 13 rebounds, and two blocks while controlling the paint on both ends of the floor. Adam Squire led the team in scoring with 23 points and added six assists, effectively running the offense and creating opportunities for his teammates. Anthony provided a major spark off the bench with 16 points, giving the River a boost of energy and momentum when it was needed most. Caleb Cameron also made a solid impact, contributing eight points and six rebounds to help keep the team balanced and steady throughout the game.

Overall, it was a complete team win highlighted by strong defensive effort, unselfish play, and balanced scoring, as the River executed the game plan and controlled the contest from start to finish.

The River will be back in action on Wednesday at Miami Dade College as they continue into the second round of conference play.
