Indian River Bounces Back with Dominant Win Over Florida Coastal Prep

FORT MYERS, FL- Back on track! Indian River took on Florida Coastal Prep in Fort Myers, FL and secured a decisive win, 91-79. Although the first half started in Florida Coastal's favor, Indian River quickly found their rhythm, taking control of the game. By halftime, The River was firmly in the lead, 50-28, showcasing their dominance on both ends of the court.

The second half brought a spirited comeback attempt by Florida Coastal, who narrowed the gap with an aggressive offensive push. However, The River's relentless play and solid defensive strategies ensured they stayed ahead, sealing the game with confidence.

Player Highlights:

• Aleksander Mitrovic: Led the team with 19 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
• Jeremiah Whitmore: Contributed 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists.
• Amari Williams: Achieved a double-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists.
