The volleyball team ended their season Saturday with a loss to Daytona State. The Pioneers had a couple strong performances, but they didnÕt have enough to take down Daytona. The Falcons seemed to have a little more fire and did not want to lose on their own Sophomore Night. Indian River fell in 3 sets, 15-25, 22-25, 19-22. Brittany Beckelheimer led the team with kills pounding down 10 kills and owning an impressive .714 hitting percentage. She also added 3 blocks on the night. Lindsay Glynn pounded home 7 kills and dug up 6 balls. Sarah Egbers and McKenna Tyson both contributed 5 kills. The loss brought the Pioneers to 8-15 on the season.
